Fastballs on Realistic Pitch Speed

Can you guys ever hit fastballs that aren't pitched exactly where your cursor is located (before the pitch) with Realistic Pitch Speed on?

Yes, just keep practicing and you will soon get the timing down.

I use the 2d cursor since I found the 3d to be a little easy. The 2d punishes you more for bad timing. I also play on legend and I am enjoying the heck out of this game now. Go to BP mode and just practice every pitch type to get the timing down at it will be much more enjoyable. When I first switched to 2d I was having trouble getting hits but now things are right back to enjoyable.
