For the game, Vitek tossed 185 pitches, 139 for strikes, and had a no-hitter for 10.1 innings before Natashalyn Snipes singled to right-field. The junior left-hander had only two walks on the day, both intentional, as she struck out 10 consecutive Tar Heel batters at one point of the game.

Both pitchers pitched the whole game. Holy crap.

Ya, its crazy how much fast pitch softball players can throw. I play on a fast pitch team out of Midland and we won the state championship 2 years ago. Basically had one pitcher who won all but 1 or 2 games. At any given tourney he could throw 3 or 4 games no problem. Its amazing. I was the young and stupid one, so they stuck me at 3rd base.
