^you my friend are the definition of a conference homer.. in every thread I read, you are forever bragging about how good the SEC is in every sport. Give it a rest man.

Now - I'm disappointed with Tech a little bit, I expected them to put away Georgia without TOO much trouble.

With how Miami played today, I can see them going pretty far into the tourney. They don't have the massive power numbers, but they play great small, team baseball.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

All I did was say the SEC could get 4 in. Geez can I not say that a conference is gonna get a certain numbers of teams in without being called a homer ? And I think the comment" in every thread I read" is off. I think you've read the Everything Else forum, right ???? I post there regularly and not once have I said anything about the Sec, so you're way off base with that comment. I'll admit I like the SEC a lot more than I do the other conferences, so yeah I'm gonna post about it more and I live in Tuscaloosa, the only conference I ever read about in the paper or see on the news is the SEC. Pardon me for posting more about the stuff that I know best.

And the Miami thing. They got 2 earned runs today. Florida(dont even think about calling me out on this one) would have won the game had they played sound defense. IF Miami continues to play like that, they won't go much further than they have already.

And remember, Georgia Tech was in the same boat Georgia was. Both teams started out with bad records( Tech started out 21-17 and UGA was 21-15 )and then both hit amazing hot streaks to get where they were.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Remember the ACC/Big 10 thread? A thread that the SEC shouldn't even be mentioned in, but you insisted on bringing them into it?

Once again its going to be a lopsided affair, with the ACC running away with it. The Big East is the only conference I can see out there that could challenge the ACC. Dont bring up the Big 12, once you get past Texas, OK ST and Kansas things start to get thin, with only Oklahoma looking like they hang in ACC.

Ah-hem. The SEC could take the ACC.

As for the challenge, I think the surprise will be IU taking down UNC. Big Ten wins 5-4.
