    Creating a Strikeout Machine

I'm in spring training right now and I'm trying to make my pitcher have more strikeouts. I wondering which stat should I work on to do this, his individual pitches or the effectiveness against righty'lefty stat? Anybody know?

          Re: Creating a Strikeout Machine

I have found that if I am pitching, having better ratings on at least three individual pitches helps me strikeout more batters. (4-seam fastball, hard curveball, circle change for instance.)

However, if I'm having the CPU do the pitching, the efeectiveness rating seems MUCH more important.

Anyone out there agree, disagree, etc?

                Control, Control, Control

And work the corners, high, low...

Mix your pitches up, keep the CPU guessing.

Aside from that, I don't know. The higher the effectiveness, the less likely the CPU will catch up with the high cheese or a curveball will jelly-leg them.
Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a ttoal jmulbe and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

                amzanig huh?
