Help with rosters please

Can you adjust rosters from the main menu? I want to add Carlos Beltran to the Astros and I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks for any help.

No. Not from the main menu, but you can do it during the season. Let's say you are using the Mets as your franchise. Trade someone to the Royals for Beltran....say Cameron using the override button(on the trade screen)....then trade Betran to the 'Stros for whoever(also using override) and finally trade the guy from the 'Stros to the Royals to get Cameron back. The only time this would not work(with the override button) is if one of the teams cannot handle any of the players salary in their budget to get this trade through. It's a weird little workaround...but it usually does the trick.

Thanks guys. Even if I tried what you suggested, I still wouldn't have those rosters if I wanted to play an exhibition game right? Thanks again.

Right. Those rosters would be no good for exhibition. You could just edit the centerfielder on the Astros to the exact attributes of Beltran and then edit Beltran into someone else. That would work for exhibition.
