NEED HELP WITH SAVING EDITED ROSTERS
ok guys, i'm trying for the life of me to really give this game a chance. let me just say that i play manage mode. i've been getting really good ideas regarding playing asb 05 manage mode and one in particular was about editing certain attributes of players to see some realistic gameplay. as i proceeded to do this, and believe me it was no quick walk in the park, i went back to save my franchise and the new edited ratings. when i checked the attributes of all the players i changed, they went back to their original attributes. needless to say that i was really pissed off. i got even more po'd because i did this crap twice with the same damn result. can someone, anyone please help me out with this?!? thanks in advance.Tags: None -
Re: NEED HELP WITH SAVING EDITED ROSTERS
Okay;
Let me see if I can help a little.
First, there are basically two modes to edit in ASB'05. One is to start with editing the rosters, which are the default rosters...and then save the ROSTERS in one of the five ROSTER spots. Once you get the rosters where you want, you can start a franchise.
Second, you can start a franchise with the default rosters and then edit players as you go along. You would then be saving your changes as a FRANCHISE in one of the five FRANCHISE slots.
I would say the easiest way to do it is to start a franchise with your team. Edit your players first. Save the franchise and go from there. As each series comes up on your schedule, edit that team coming up an pick a team from the other league and edit a team from there. Let me know if you need anymore help.

Re: NEED HELP WITH SAVING EDITED ROSTERS
No problem. I know this sounds nuts...but make sure you are loading the correct Franchise when you start the game. I kept saving one of my edited a franchises to Franchise5 and when I was starting the game, I kept loading Franchise4. I was going nuts until I realized I was loading the wrong slot. I wish ASB would allow US to name the saves.
