It would be nice. I wish MVP would come back along with some other games. Imagine how good the baseball games would be with some real competition. I purchased a PS4 instead of a Xbone because of MLBTS. If Xbox had a half decent MLB game, I would trade systems.

And do a complete reboot. Rebrand 2K, I'd go with something like, "Maddon 152k".

How about "The Non-Bud Selig MLB 2K15".

well, that might be easy for you to type - but for those of us who ONLY OWN a 360, it's a crummy deal for us. We have no other baseball game. So I'm a proponent of 2K bringing back this series, whether you are or not... And I'm not alone in this sentiment.

I hope someone brings back baseball to the Xbox. But really, I want the game MLB 2K was becoming. I hope Microsoft, EA, or whoever decides to create a new game matches the gameplay we had with the 2K series.

I don't just miss baseball on the Xbox, I miss 2K baseball.

I really feel for Xbox users not having a baseball game although its not like MLB2k was worth the purchase anyway, with it being such a piece of trash.

I really like the Xbox, but I made the move back in 09 to go with the PS3, and cant say Im sorry. I hate not having the best NBA2k eidtors available, but just didnt have much choice if I wanted a good baseball game.

What really needs to happen is EA needs to bring back MVP baseball, cause that was a good game.

Its too bad that EA quit making baseball an 2k quit making football, because baseball was one thing EA was good at, while 2k has never have had competent devs making baseball. While I never play 2k football, it sounds like it was a great game, so its too bad they quit making it since it was osmeting they seem to be good at.

Im sure it would take years for MVP to catch up being competitive with MLBTS, but thats who really needs to make a baseball game, 2k just dont have it when it comes to baseball, and never have really, unless your a casual fan of the sport that is.

How hard is it to spell 'can?'

2k did a lot of things well. Chronic injuries were a thing of beauty, multiple metrics were used, stats were good for the most part, rehab assignments, mlb.com style headlines, and even the play by play. However, the thing that hampered the series were the player models. My goodness, if they were closer to the show, they will be super competitive. I have a gut feeling we will have 2-3 titles to choose from within the next 3 years.

Very well said and couldn't agree more.
I've said several times before that if the player models and animations were on par with The Show it would have been far better received.

And you're right, chronic injuries were really cool.

I just traded in my PS3 for a PS4 so my beloved 2K13 is gone. But I still have a 360 so I may purchase it for that console and start over.
                      Love 2K13!

Looks like we may get our wish:

I really enjoyed a lot of things about the 2k baseball series and still play 2k7, 2k11 and 2k13 all the time. The pitching mechanic was great and the pitching animations / batting stances were terrific. I really think unleashing the power of the next gen consoles would make this game terrific.

Also, there was nothing on Sony's announcement about being the only sim baseball game this year.

Also, it's worth noting that MLB 2K13 was announced on January 9, 2013. So if 2k15 is coming back, we can probably expect an announcement soon.

2K Games is also the publisher for the MLB Power Pros series, so there's just no saying what this is for.

I'll tell you what though, as much as I miss their baseball product(s) and want Microsoft to have a baseball game within the next 18 months, I really wish that said "including football." I would have wetted. See, now I'm making up words.
