Hey Guys,
i'm playing the expansion mode as the Washington Fury and when I drafted my team, i decided to draft players with a C+ rating or lower and also for the most part a lot of younger players ( so you can imagine the team I must have ). I've played with the zone batting option and it just doesn't get it. So i tried hitting with the cursor, playing on all star level with all aids on and slow pitch speed. I struggled and still am to an extent but i think i am beginning to see the light. Pitchingwise, with the random generated count, i get a fair amount of K's and dole out a few walks. It mostly falls on the abilities of my pitchers and that's something i really love. Not like MVP, where i can hit that green zone 9 times out of 10.
I truly see why all of you ASB purists love this game (even with some of the annoying glitches).
I have to admit that I was flipflopping between this and MLB 2005 for my baseball game this year but i would have to give ASB 2005 the slight nod.
