I went with the PC version of Stratomatic. They have the option to do the die rolls yourself and enter them into the pc interface as you play. Did a 1986 Astros replay of all 162 games. Great great way to play. You get the feel of the board game with rolling the dice, but all of the stat tracking of the computer version.

That's a rather interesting compromise/combination! Can't say I've seen anything like that before.

I do that same thing sometimes. It works out really well. The only issues I have is with Super advanced holding runners and bunting. You cant input those rolls and just need to depend on the cpu randomness and telling you what happens...

But I will play with the cards&dice, with the laptop open and kind of do both at the same time while inputting rolls. Great stat compiler and gives me kind of a 'jumbotron'.
