How does the batting cursor feel on the PS4 version this year? I know one of the staff members here on OS (JYoung) had issues with that last year. For me it wasn't a huge issue, but it's not as smooth as the PS3 version or PYS. The VITA version is fine.

I was just playing Super Mega 2 on my VITA through PS4 remote play. Have you tried it yet? The hit variety is not on par with Japanese games but it's a blast to play. I'll be switching back & forth between that and Power Pro.

Ok......I seriously want to get this but I'm leary on how I'm going to know anything that's going on outside of knowing what the buttons do. Any confidence boosters or tips?

Haven't noticed any issues with the batting cursor, but I also didn't have an issue in 16 either. Seems pretty smooth.

I was in the beta for SMB2 and have been playing it on the One X. I enjoy it but not as much as Power Pros.

Do you still have a PS3? Maybe get an older version and see if you enjoy it. The Spirit Translations website is the only reason I've been able to enjoy the game as much as I do.

I was so excited to try out this series on my Vita, but I just could not get past the language barrier (with one of the past versions). As much as I would love a new baseball option on the Vita, I just can't do it. I don't have the necessary patience.

How do you guys manage to know what things are, such as abilities, stats, or any other texted based items?

One thing you can convert to english are the player names, so when they come up to bat you can tell who it is.
Spiritstranslation has many things from the 2013 and last yrs game translated to english, the other thing I do that works pretty well is use the google translate app on my phone. I also have some stuff printed out for quick reference.

All that being said it still takes some effort to do.

Not sure if there will be any. Last yr they were available because the users in japan could create them using ps3 somehow and transfer to ps4 but no ps3 version this yr. If I see any become avaolable I will post them.

I might be taking a shot at this game. Played the Pro Yakyuu Spirits series and loved it. Seems as though that game will not be coming to ps4 anytime soon, and from what I’ve seen from this title, it looks promising. Need a change of pace, the Show has been same year after year and I think I’m finally over that title with this year’s debacle.
