And THAT's why I gave it a try. Again, I root for anyone entering the market with a licensed MLB game... I just wish the effort was better. I bought MLB the Show, OOTP, and RBI Baseball last year. Yes, all very different experiences, but I ended up spending the most time with The Show. (sadly, lost to the Nationals two straight World Series using Cleveland).Comment

I remain hopeful that this will finally be the one to get into the "good" category. I LOVED the old RBI baseball 20 years ago, but the last couple of versions for Xbox have failed. I want to like this game, but haven't so far. It's hard to get the 'retro' feel with the modern amenities that make it fun. Just a more playable game would make me thrilled, and some actual gameplay video will set me on the path to buy or not to buyComment

Being it gets released 3 weeks before The Show, I want to give it a shot. My primary concern is, 2 weeks to release, and no actual gameplay videos have been released. Never played the series before, but from what I understand the gameplay has been rough in prior releases.Comment

I want this game to succeed because on the Xbox we are limited but at the same time I know the game will not be dramatically better than last year's game. I found myself playing more SMB2 last year as it was just a fun experience. That being said I will still support this game as well, I just hope they have made some decent improvements.
