This game comes out next week and they have nothing else to show? I am obsessed with baseball and I haven't been this obsessed in years. I have watched every spring training game I can for the first time ever. I'm going to follow this entire season this year. I am itching to play a baseball game. I'm going to take my chances with this edition. It's only $30 and I have Gamers Club Unlocked, so why not? I bet this will be like 2K vs Live where both games have their pros and cons, but one is far superior to the other, but you find enjoyable out of both, too. I will play this for 3 weeks until I get the other game. It will be cool to own two baseball games.

Does anyone have a legends list? I was surprised to know they have over 100.

I'd recommend getting an old Pro Yakyuu Spirits instead if you have a PS3. The 2013 edition, which I have, plays and looks great and is available for under $10 shipped on eBay. And if you really like it you can buy the PS4 version that's coming out later this year. :wink:

I'm looking forward to the Japanese game for sure.

I need something portable so I will purchase this for my switch. Looks like every year it is improving hoping it’s better if not I’ll purchase RBI 18 for cheaper but my money is that it is better

I'm more than likely going to give the game a shot, but I'd like to see at least a gameplay video before handing my money over.

Depending on your needs and desires, you may want to try MLB 15 on the Vita (the Vita would also give you the ability to play Madden 13). If you already have a Switch, I am not sure you'd want to invest in a Vita, but, with the baseball and football games out there, the Vita remains my primary gaming platform. The Switch sports games just don't seem to measure up (yet).

Even though I was not likely to pick it up, I was still rooting for the gsme. The silence is very concerning though. Is day of media exposure, not showing any gameplay less than a week before launch is equivalent to hiding the game.

I grabbed this one for the Switch. I hope it scratches the itch for my lunch breaks and travel schedule. With the $29 price tag, it was an easy pickup. If it is good, the price is a steal. If it is bad, the price is easy to write off.

Agreed. I would never buy this title without first seeing some gameplay footage. Having said that I have watched footage of the previous games and never bought it. I was hoping this year would be different however it is not looking good. Don't know of many games that don't release some gameplay footage within a week of launch. Doesn't send signals that they are proud of their game.

I bought it. I own both a ps4 pro and the X. I just feel like the only way this, or other smaller baseball series, will have a chance is if we all support it by purchasing it. However, it is inexcusable and an embarrasment to show absolutely no info at all. It makes no sense unless its the exact same game or they arent delivering on what they promoted. Im not even sure how people are supposed to know this game exists outside of stumbling upon it by accident.

Yeah I'm more than likely going to get it because it's the only option an Xbox guy has. Love OOTP, but also want to get my in game fix in.

Still, pretty embarrassing marketing effort.
