Starting to get the hang of hitting and have even managed to draw some walks in my last couple of games as I get better at reading pitches. It's a counterintuitive system, but I don't think it's bad and I'm glad that they tried to do something different to keep the game fresh.

I like the game too, I am however wondering why does the computer throw all fastballs and right down the middle. I haven't seen any breaking balls or anything out of the zone. I think it would be a better game with that.
If anybody knows how to change that please let me know.Comment

I'm also curious to see if CPU aggression at the plate has been toned down. They were swinging at everything the last few games I played, even pitches thrown well out of the zone.Currently Playing:

I just want to know why MLB can license games that are actually fun mechanics-wise such as the show for playstation, or even on mobile such as mlb perfect inning or 9 innings, yet their rbi-baseball iterations for both of those platforms are lacking severely every year. I understand they aren't trying to make it like a fancy sim like the show. But that should mean the mechanics are more simple and run more smoothly yet mlb perfect inning is just as, or more, entertaining to play and less buggy.
Shoot, the graphics are still so bad that you might as well just download the old 9 innings arcade style games and play that instead.Comment

Bumped the difficulty up to Hard and that's where I'm going to stay. Really enjoying how the game is playing and the CPU is challenging, but not in a cheap way.
Two things I've noticed recently:
-More breaking pitches being thrown by the CPU.
-Improved CPU plate discipline
Overall, having a lot of fun with the game (Switch).Currently Playing:

Re: R.B.I. Baseball 20 Available Now - Post Your Impressions Here
Since the update, I'm having diverse games.
I was in my first ever extra inning game and lost by a run with 16 innings logged in.
That game the AI had 23 hits and 0 HR's.
Next game, I lost by a run, 3-2 and each team had 5 hits
The Cards hit 2 HR's in that game that accounted for all the runs, all FB's on the outside corner of the plate. The series before that Bryant and Rizzo jacked HR's with pitches above the strike zone.
So, I'm getting games where the AI does hit HR's, prior to the update and after the update.Comment

I had a game the other day where the cpu put up 8 runs off me in the 1st inning. They were crushing everything. I've noticed not getting away with bad pitches as much especially when my pitcher is tired.Comment

How is the CPU scoring any amount of runs?
The Yankees have the highest rated power yet nobody can hit for any power except Brett Gardner.
Judge and Stanton can barely ever make contact. They can barely hit the ball in the outfield.
It's the same story with other teams. On any mode. Throwing any pitch
How have they not fixed this awful bug yet. Both on Android and CPUComment
