Yes even on the hardest level it still to easy to many homeruns still a pretty good game hopefully next years will be better but isn't that what we say ever yearr

Take it off rookie mode (All Star is the most difficult), turn off your pitch indicators and strike zone indicators, and enjoy.

lol well how easy was it for me on the hardest level... my last season i played... 140-22, all starting pitchers won no less than 20 games, most of my hitters had batting averages of .300 or better, 25+ homers and 100 or more rbis... that is when i quit... that told me i had gotten too good for the game... lol

Its a shame really. I think If All-star 2005 had in-game injuries, sliders, and $$$ instead of points, it would have been the best game ever. IMO, the Rule 5 draft, arbitration hearings, etc. are still unmatched by the show. The CPU did a wonderful job in protecting top prospects (i.e. most players in the rule 5 pool were D- and on occassion see a C prospect), players were sent down who were underperforming, etc.

I just popped in the game after I read this thread and it just feels stale. Franchise is deep and the expansion mode is unrivaled. I may bite the bullet and try to recreate my alaskan bulugas and see if I can take them to the promise land.
