Need help ASB 05 and baserunning

Picked up a copy of ASB 05 from the bargain bin. I like to play the manage only mode but I'm having a problem with base runners. In manage only mode the guy on first likes to steal ( often) without being told (and rarely makes it in safely). Any way I can restrict guys from taking off for second without my permission in the manage only mode? Thanks.

P.S. Base runners in ASB 05 rarely try to score from second on a base hit to the outfield. They almost always hold up at third.

Knight165 and I tweaked the game, player attributes, and solved the baserunning issues. It's sort of takes some time, but you'll see those runners scoring everytime and there will be no singles off the walls.

If you look at the baserunning speeds they are incredibly low. In these forums is a discussion on that and I"ll try to look around.

I don't know about the runner advancing by himself. Never saw that. You sure you aren't pressing a wrong command button or something?
