Pennant Chase Delay

According to IGN, Pennant Chase may be delayed for a month. New date would be May 4. I was really wanting to see this one in action.

Not surprising. Otherwise, it would just about be done by now.

If I were them, I would hold up until next year. But, that's just me.

No point in making this yet another MVP discussion, OK?

Disappointing delay, and I can't imagine it bodes well. The title came out of nowhere, and now is seeing delays? Usually not a sign of a solid project.

I was looking forward to seeing what it would be like, but I doubt I'll give it anything more than a rental in May. I was hoping to see great potential for next year's game. MVP is all the baseball I need for awhile.

Did you know that the makers of Sega World Series 2K2 and 2K3 are working on this game? I loved those two games, and 2K4 was not as bad as some think. 2K4 was a tweeked version of 2K3. With the right sliders, 2K4 is still the best baseball game available in North America.

I say this because in my opinion, ESPN 2K5 and MVP 2K5 are gimmicky garbage. The bugs resulting from their rush to market don't bother me nearly as much their horrendous core gameplay. Even if these games were bug-free, they would still not be fun to play.

Pennant Chase's delay might be a good sign. Maybe the gamemakers actually want to take the time necessary to get it right. I'm hoping this is the reason. We'll just have to wait and see.
