High Heat 2002 in Windows XP?
I've decided I'm giving up on MVP 2005. It's way too hard for me and I'm just not seeing why people like this game. The severe lack of strikeouts bother me and yes I have been using suggested strategies. However, HH2002 doesn't seem to work in XP. Is there a way for the game to work in XP or am I SOL? I need to play a good baseball gameTags: None -

Why are you going way back to HH2k2? There are plenty of mods for HH2k3 and HH2k4 that will work.
If it doesn't work.. then poop :| Maybe I'll just have to take my lumps in MVP 2005(just did win a game 15-2 on Rookie level though. Pro's just too hard though. Need to figure out something in the middle here.). I really did wanna see a pitcher on the hated Yankees try for win #300 though, I was at that point in my HH Career mode.. 2025 season too :PComment

high heat 2002 will NOT work with XP. 3DO's official remedy for this problem was to purchase high heat 2003.Believe + Receive = Become

Re: High Heat 2002 in Windows XP?
That's disappointingJust when I got used to the pitching in MVP 2005, I realize I can't hit at all and no amount of practice will ever help in that regard. If I fall behind 1-0, I lose. I just had a garbage BS game where I was losing 10-0 in the 3rd, the CPU does things in MVP the user cannot do, and this is on Pro mode. I was hoping HH2002 would work somehow in XP, but.. bleh

If you right click the HH Icon on your desktop or right click it in your start up menu and then click properties, then click compatibility, then tryout every windows setting in that menu ... it might work. If it doesn`t work after you try this then you`re out of luck.Comment
