Saw this the other day Blaze...I'm actually finding myself really looking forward to this game. I wonder why OS hasn't made a forum for it yet, but already has one for Blitz Playmakers... -

yeah it looks interesting. I want to see some more vids of it though. As much as I am loving MVP this year, I don't think I'll buy this one, I still have MLB 2006 sitting around somewhere. I will rent it though when Blockbuster gets it in. The speed play thing might be a fun manage mode type of interface.

I think it looks pretty good so far and has some nice features, but I don't see myself buying it unless it blows me away. I'm having a lot of fun with MVP still and if I'm going to get a new game anytime soon, I'd rather it be something different.Comment

It does look pretty good. And it's got some modes like that division race mode that seem like they would be pretty fun to play.
I watched the interview they had with one of the developers on IGN, and I liked what I heard there. For instance they were going for a simulation, and the ball using actual physics.
But really, a baseball game is all about the gameplay and play control, and that's not something you can't know until you actually play it and have a couple games under your belt. It's got pretty nice graphics, the Seattle commentary crew, and all the options going for it so far. I'll give it a rental, and if it's good, I'll get it.
I wasn't' really blown away with any of the baseball games this year. MVP 2005 was basically a bugfixed 2004(not that that is a bad thing, at least there are no glaring issues with it). Also the commentary in MVP drives me bonkers. ESPN 2k5 was nice on the surface, but when you can't even do a double switch, it has got some issues. and I didn't get to play MLB 2006 because I don't have a ps2. So at least for me, there is room for another player to come in, and show me something....Comment
