With all the talk of the next-gen Madden I got to thinking of how amazing a baseball game could look. Do you think baseball games could possibly benefit most from the jump from ps2/xbox to the next-gen systems?

yes i think they will but not how i wuold like to see them. that being depth of stats and commetary camera use... i want the developers to sit down for about a week and really watch baseball on espn or fox of whatever and pay atten to th stat over lays during at bats, fan noise during a ball game, that sort of thing.. ill have to break out my thinking cap and revisit my old list of things that i would love to see in a baseball game. -

I really don't think that the graphics department for today's current crop of baseball games is in need of that much help compared with other aspects of baseball videogames. I would be much happier if the graphics were ignored for the next year while the developers focused all their time in getting the game "right". Getting rid of major bugs & making the game "feel" like real baseball is what I want.
That being said, the games should look amazing on the next-gen systems.
