    World Series 2K3

I just purchased World Series 2K3. I believed jim416 posted that he had made rosters for the game a while back and posted them here. I was looking to update them to this year since I just can't get into this years game and ESPN 2k4 is just not a game I want to play in terms of graphics more than anything. I think 2K3 looks better in my opinion.

So Jim if you still got the rosters I would love to get them and use them to update them to this year.

    Hi,

Let's see if I understand here. You're talking about the WSB game, not from this year, or last year, but the year before? The first edition? If so, I think you are going to be really disappointed in the game. If I remember it was pretty bad AI wise. Runners will not advance on sacrifice flys at all unless you move your outfielder back after catching a ball. There were a ton of things wrong with the AI and the strikezone was the size of Montana. Last years game played a solid game of baseball, much better than this years, but lacked presentation.

You just bought it? No, I don't have a roster for that one, sorry. Can you convert this years game roster and use it in that game?

No there was World Series Baseball then World Series Baseball 2k3. I got world Series Baseball 2k3. From what alot of people have said it sounds pretty good. Haven't really gotten into it yet play wise. I thought you made a roster for that one. I like how you can just change the whole roster without having to worry about how many players are on the roster.

I guess I will just have to do it from scratch.

I would go back and buy this game as well, but there aren't sliders available for it anymore and I don't think it was that great outta the box.

I might pick it up anyway, it's only $9 and I still have 2K4.

I'm not denying 2k4 is a better baseball game in terms of gameplay, its just the way the game is presented that just irks me about 2k4. I played it the whole season last year and frankly I don't think I want to do that this year. I like 2k3 presentation quality better.

I really don't remember much on the presentation because it's been more than two years since I've played the game. I looked at some videos over at gamespot and it looked better than 2K4 (which I actually played last night). Maybe I'll stop by the mall this weekend and pick up a copy of 2K3, cause MVP has just about run it's course with me.
