    Pitch Speed

I have been lurking on these boards and reading all the great stuff Baa, Rajda, and Joe have been doing since the game came out. One thing that I was always baffled at was I noticed that Baa said more than once how there were too many fly balls in the game. I was always baffled by that statement because I just wasn't seeing it in the games I was playing. Well, I think I may have found out why. I have been playing with the pitch speed on 85-100 since the day I got the game. The other day I was just messing around and thought I would move it down to 50 and see how that looked. After playing a few games I am almost certain that it results in a lot more fly balls for both myself and the CPU. I am not sure why this would be, but it has definately seemed to be the case for me. I haven't done anymore testing with it, but I wonder if there is a pitch speed that would result in a good mix of the flyballs/groundballs.

Interesting... yeah, I've played with pitch speed @ 40 since the game came out, mostly because I have user contact @ 15. I'll have to check that out...

I've stayed at 55 for a while. There was a time where I was at 100! Now I'm like... yeah right.
