    Q please A

The other day when I was playing I saw the baserunner run into the catcher and it was a cool play at the plate with the catcher dropping the ball and me scoring. I thought I had hit the right thumbstick to do a diving slide straight ahead but it made the collision happen nonetheless. Does anyone know if this just happens automatically if the catcher is blocking the plate (like in 2k3) or if there is a way to manually initiate a collision?

ps. The other day I was playing against the Giants and hit a home run with my pitcher (don't remember who the pitcher was) This gave me the lead in the seventh and the crowd started chanting "throw it back, throw it back" My jaw dropped instantly. I just love the atmosphere in the game.

It's supposed to be just... well... press nothing, and it happens. The catcher needs to have time to set himself up, and then there will be a play at the plate.

Yeah, that "Throw it back" thing happens at Wrigley Field, too.
