    A few general questions...

I'm gonna pick up this game...just a few general questions, as the 2kSports website isn't all that imformative.

    1. What minor league teams are in it? I think I read AAA and AA.

    2. What minor league stadiums (if any) are in the game?

    3. What types classic stuff is in there? Uniforms, stadiums, teams, etc.?

    4. Does it have the real Home Run Derby format in the game?

    Thanks.

No minor leagues whatsover. You simply place the extra players in your lineup on a non-functional AAA or AA list, and then "call" them up if and when you need them. The HR derby is split-screen: very poorly done.

And the other frustrating thing is the Minor league system is flawed. When you send players down to AAA or AA most of the players do not even play. I have 6 batters in the minors right now and only 2 have stats. I have 5 pitchers in the minors and only 1 has stats...........game is still worth getting though

I thought I heard the no-stats thing could be fixed by doing some simming thing or something...? (Like 100 other things in this game that can be fixed by doing something you shouldn't have to.) And yes, worth getting. However, for the casual gamer and people who have no interest in editing and spending time fixing the broken things, I'd say: no, it's probably not worth getting, as you'll just end up frustrated and PO'd.

BTW: If you think about it, that was pretty tacky to advertise a minor league system that includes AAA and AA teams. Incredibly misleading, really. I’ve noticed the 2K series of games – baseball and (what was) football – appears to be adopting EA’s shoddy business practices, and juvenile, arcady features and modes. Sad that they feel they have to “keep up” with EA’s tasteless tactics and pointless game content.

Hey BAA7 it really is too bad, because if the minor league system did work it would be pretty cool. My idea was to have players w/ low ratings and high potentials and gradually work them thru your farm system and up to the majors after you see there rating and confidence increase as they perform well in the minors. It actually worked well w/ Scott Kazmir for me, he got shelled his 1st 3 starts, so I sent him down to AA then brought him up to AAA, he was lights out so I checked his rating after a month and it actually went up by 9 points, so I then called him up to the majors and his confidence had gone from depleted(when I sent him down) to 3/4 filled when I called him up.......the system worked!!!!! But he was the ONLY one of my 11 minor league players that had freaking stats......would have been a nice way to develop/groom young players for the majors.......maybe next year
