    Just got this game.

Hello, i just picked it up $15 and i needed a baseball game after the horrific MLB 2006. Exellent game, in fact possibly one of the best ever but the freezing issue is ridiculous. How do they get away with this?

Ok, so i get this and i can't pitch at all. I put the cursor where I want the pitch then pick my pitch but it goes NO WHERE near the spot I picked. I looked in the manual and it says you pick pitch, pick location then you can move the cross-hair target around but I can't move anything after I pick the pitch. I'm playing allstar.

How do you get the pitch to go where you want it too?

First off, are you using K-Zone or one of the other interfaces (effort, meter)? If you didn't choose one then you're using K-zone by default. Secondly, pressing the pitch button sets the K-zone interface in motion - meaning, you select your location with the left stick before pressing the button. Maybe the manual is a little vague or just plain wrong, but that's how it's done.

Then to control your accuracy you line up the two moving circles in the pitch location. It might sound confusing, but it's really not. You'll have the hang of it soon enough.

To put this in as simple terms as possible: Moving the left analog stick moves the "bullseye" (assuming you're using KZone). For example, in pitcher's view moving the analog stick down and to the left makes you throw it down and away from the a right-handed batter. Then you press the button that corresponds to the pitch you want to throw. For example, press X for fastball. As soon as you press the button a dot will start moving horizontally. Press the button again to try to stop it as close as you can to where you originally placed your target (or "bullseye"). Then a dot will start moving vertically and you press the button again to try to stop it at the target again. Believe it or not, this really doesn't take long when you're actually doing it. I'd advise putting the cursor speed slider down until you get the hang of it, and it shouldn't take you long. I hope this helps, if there's anything that's still confusing let me know. Good luck!

        Ahhhh, got it..thanks.

I'll try it again later on..i just switched to "Classic" pitching and it's cool. So far it seems alot better than MVP to me.

        thanks for the replies.

Question, is there a way to play from behind the pitcher when I pitch, and behind the batter when I bat? I mean without having to manually change the setting each time.

Yes. If you're home team, then go to Presentation, and switch Home Team Batting to whatever you want, and then Away Team Batting to Pitcher Cam. Or, whatever they're called.

I can't use the BTP cam in this game. The framerate is UNBEARABLE!
