Animation wise this game could learn a thing or three from MVP 05 - PC version. I've been getting into that more recently and with the right slider combinations it feels more like a real baseball game, offline or IP 2 IP. I just played an exhibition game as Durham vs Memphis last night and saw a whole variety of things from the types of foul balls, to the way fielders play balls out of their range, running animations are just about spot on when having to change directions. It's a PITA to initially set up your controller the right way and find a good set of sliders, but guys over at MVPmods.com are a great help with all that. I think this will be the baseball game for me until 2K can show they can do animations more realistically.

I'm debating whether to get this again or check out the world series edition. I need to know if anything is different besides the extra modes before a purchase.

Well, they're sure keeping this game under wraps. No previews. I've got this sneaking suspicion..................................roster update only with the WS thingy, ugh.

Me too. I'm still hoping, though.

Of course, it depends on if you can even load your files from this game. If not, there's absolutely no reason for me to buy it.

Also, I wouldn't like to be playing the Battle of the Bay series at SBC Park... hopefully they have Candlestick Park.

We'll Im actually hoping some of those annoying bugs were fixed. I know animations won't be, but if the confidence meter is fixed, the default player ratings are on point & the CPU AI is better then this game will definetly keep me busy. I have stop playing 2k5 due to the above bugs.

I also vote the BLZR pick this-up & give-us a review.. Let's go BLZR....

Like I said... it's dependent upon what they allow for us to do. I don't know if I'm willing to shell out $25 for a game that I already have. It's not me... it's just something that my parents wouldn't understand.

I'll find a way, though. I always do.
