    How about this finish!

I'm playing as the Angels against the Cardinals in St. Louis. It's the top of the ninth, game tied 9-9, bases loaded with 2 outs and a full count. I have Kennedy at the plate, the pitcher thows his 3-2 pitch( a splitter) and just as it starts to cross the plate the game freezes. I was so ticked! The pitch was just at the knees of Kennedy, I couldn't tell if it was ball 4 or strike 3. Can you believe that , the game freezes with the ball suspended right over the plate.

By the way, has anybody come up with a fix for the 3rd baseman not making plays on ground balls?

WOW! Well, if I were you, I'd play scenario mode with that (does 2K have it) same situation. I don't know much about 2K, so if it has scenario mode play it with 9-9 score, 2 outs and a full count.

Well I did some editing regarding the 3rd basemen. From what I recall the 3rd baseman wasn't moving much because the pitchers range was so high, so I lowered the pitchers range to almost nothing and also upped the 3rd basemans a tad and that seemed to help, but not in every instance. I did see the 3rd baseman charging balls much more than he had.

I did a roster with this, then some other guys picked up on the roster and also did some editing.

I only had the game freeze once on me, when I intentionally tried to bean a batter and tweaked the stick way up and it. The game froze on that one.

THAT is enough to drive you crazy.....ironically, with MVP 2004 (for PS2), I'd get the freezing way too often during games and during roster edits too.

With MVP 2005, not one freezing moment....thank God!
