ANd trust me, its fun. When it works. This is the buggiest, sorriest pile of crap excuse for a game that I have ever played. I'm on disc #2 as well, luckily I got the friggin warranty. The game doesnt friggin load in GM Career past signing free agents year 1. Whats it do? FREEZE. In games? FREEZE. Its terrible. Worst 25 dollars I EVER spent in my life.

I stopped playing it two days after I got 2K5 last spring because I felt the same way. A few days later, I picked it up again, spent 6 weeks editing and discovering work-arounds for some glitches, and now it's my favorite BB game ever (not 'best'; just 'favorite'). But it's not a game that one can play a franchise with. The roster bugs in franchise are the cause of the freezing and the only way to prevent that would be to control all teams and have access to CPU lineups.

You can get a warranty for a video game? Never heard of that or been offered that whenever I've purchased a game. Although, I'd never get a warranty.

Yeah, I know EBgames always offers it for an extra 3 bucks. It came in handy with MLB2006, exchanging/returning it 12 times until I hit the jackpot (hopefully)

Best Buy, Toys r us, EB, Gamestop, etc., they all offer it. If I recall, it was 2 bucks for a warranty for Mlb2k5 Ws Edition.
I never take it though!

HH2004 used to freeze when viewing the box score at times, but that's the worst thing that's happened. So many people had that issue that it had to be an issue with the games code.

Yeah, that problem with HH used to kill me! Nothing like winning a hard fought game only to freeze in the end before saving.

Hmm.....was that a console or PC version? I played the PC game all the time, and I don't think it ever froze on the boxscore.

Console version for me (Xbox). It froze at random times. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind it.

It happened to me on the ps2. It was very random but very fustrating!
