freezing problems??

I picked up WSB 2k5 earlier this year, as I always do because it's the best baseball game. But, about a month after I bought it, I traded it in because I could not make it through even 1 game without the game freezing (often unfreezing) multiple times. It grew incredibly frustrating. Anyway, I was just wondering if this version had the freezing problems that the version released earlier this year had? Thanks.
