When is this game scheduled to come out for the 360. I hear maybe March 1st. Has there been official word yet and if so has anyone seen anywhere where you might order it?

If you check in the Hands on Q&A section in the MVP NCAA Baseball forum, the author of the forum said that MLB does not want any MLB game coming out prior to March 20, 2006 because of the WBC.

I heard it was coming out like in April. I don't know if it came from a reliable source... but it would be logic for the game to come out so late. No competition, so why rush. As long as they fix the bugs and include day progression in the game... I don't mind waiting.

Ditto that...I agree. I want a good game as well so i dont mind waiting a while.

Those who have an Xbox 360 could care less about quality (look at Madden for example). Forget best effort. Give us a baseball game NOW, regardless of how unfinished it is!

While I want a solid, bug-free game I really like getting a baseball game in February to start playing before the actual season. Looks like I'll have to pull out 2K5 if it won't be coming out until April.

It damn better be... same with the current-gen version. They have time; they won't need to develop their games for current-gen next year (supposedly). They should take advantage of it.

In 2004 I recall Sega Sports announcing the end of the current-gen titles would be 2K6. I don't know if that's still the plan now that it's 2K Sports... but I'm sticking to expect that right now (so I can only be happy, and not disappointed).
