    Which one to get?

Should I get the regular version or the World Series Edition? I need to get used to 2k baseball again since it's the only one coming out Also, what changes need to be made to avoid these bugs? Thanks fellas.

If you don't have either (and don't have any files on the regular), just go with the World Series Edition. Less bugs, newer rosters, more options. I'm not sure how the 2K Sports presentation is on the game, but wutevs.

Thanks guys. I'm itching to play some baseball, and might as well knock the learning curve out now.

I just ordered the World Series Edition one for 8.99 used from EBGames.com. After coupons and free shipping codes, it knocked my total down to 7.67 which is less than a rental, so I'm happy.

Is it good enough to keep you motivated to play an entire season?

I'm still concerned about the stat issues??/ Like wrong players getting credited with saves, homeruns, etc?

I have MVP and am afraid of MLB(freeze!) Is this world series edition worth the purchase to hold me over until next years games?

This is a bull**** glitch. I'm in my 4th season of playing this game with my Reds (that's right... ALL 486+ games), and not ONCE have I witnessed such a glitch. If this occurs... believe me, the probability must be no greater than .0002.

All that was fixed was the passed ball issue, which had a work-around anyway with MLB 2K5. And freezing isn't an issue. Yes, some games freeze, but it's infrequent.

Whoa... down fella! I've seen that issue with my own two eyes. I believe it has to do with saving games a certain way, so once I figured that out, I stuck with a system where I always save the User game immediately after playing it, and before simming CPU games. Plus I save any simmed games before starting a User game. Haven't had a problem since.

                              ... weird.

Never seen it in my life, that's all I have to say. I guess I save my games correctly, eh?
