I'd assume so. I'm sure that they will include it and then make a gametype specifically for teh WBC in the main menu screen in case you feel like doing it out of Franchise.

Anything that adds authenticity to the game by adding in real life events if fine by me.

They've basically had this the past few years. The have the all-Venezuala team, the all-Puerto Rican team, etc. They just plopped them into a pre-set tourney format this year.

I guess the only other addition would be adding the real team uniforms. Not to rain on people's parades, but I don't think I'd give this feature more than a quick glance. In all fariness though, I'm not the least interested in the WBC in real life either which has something to do with it.

They can put what they want in this game if it doesn't play worth a darn then it doesn't matter. I was a 2k nut but for baseball especially last year 2k5 stunk in my opinion. Again if they get better annimations, gameplay, and more camera angles and loose the arcade stuff on last years game I will be getting this game. This is a rent for me because I like MLB series. Last year I didn't have freezes and it was a great game as well as Mvp05

I don't know where they're playing these games... do you think they will add the stadiums too?

And if they do, as cool as that would be... I wonder where Busch Stadium III was left out in their plans?
