    Can pitch speeds be changed?

Reason I asked is it seems like pitches are kinda floaty as hell in the IE vid that was released a couple weeks back.

I agree they did look a bit floaty.

I expect that we will be able to change pitch speeds. I can't recall the last game that didn't allow it.

      lets hope so
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Last year, they would cap videos with everything at default. I'll tell you right now that when I play this game, everything is FAR from default. By that, I mean:

        - Low No Zoom batting
        - No baserunning turbo
        - No defensive turbo
        - Pop Fly Lock off
        - SlamZone off
        - Batter's Eye off
        - Classic pitching
        - Bat trail off
        - Showboat catches off
        - All name indicators OFF
        - Pitch speeds up to 100

Last year they had a slider for pitch speeds, ranging from 1 to 100. I can't recall what the default on Pro was, but it was probably somewhere around 10 or so. Don't worry... these videos are showing default stuff, and it can probably be risen all the way to 100 again. 100 is a little below real (in my eyes). 101 MPH looks more like 95.

But to answer your question... unless for some stupid reason it's unavailable, you can adjust pitch speeds.

I timed Clemens' FB during last year's playoffs while playing the game at the same time: you're correct -- a 100 FB is just slightly slower than a real life FB. I played a few games with the pitch speed slider on 100: very cool, very fun, very sim.
