I think that T2 is just not going to gamble by releasing 360 info and screenshots before they release the game for millions of legacy consoles out there. They are going to sink or swim on how well MLB2K6 does on the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube/PSP. This is their bread and butter. There are far too many gamers with these machines for them to ignore. So all of their efforts will go into making sure this game gets off to a good start.

I don't have a 360 yet, but I will get one as soon as I can. But let me tell you, if I see 360 shots and they are off the chain?.... I won't even bother with trying to get it for my Xbox. And others folks that my not have a 360 may just bypass the game all together if it looks inferior on their console of choice. I can see T2's point here. You don't want to roll out your brand new Ferrari when you're trying push your Mustangs, because you know that for you to be successful... ya gotta sell waaaayyyyy more Mustangs!

That's the way I see it.

I can understand that, but it still doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I guess I just don't really see that many casual sports fans or gamers refusing to buy the Xbox/PS2/Gamecube/PSP versions at all just because of 360 screens or movies. If you are a baseball fan and want a baseball game, you are going to buy one no matter what. Seeing how amazing Madden looked on the 3DO back in '94 or whatever it was didn't make me stop buying it for my Sega Genesis.

The only people I can see passing are those who already have a 360 and would buy that version anyway, or those who simply don't care to buy ANY version of the game. You would pass, but then again, you said yourself that you are planning on getting a 360, so you will likely be skipping it so you can just buy that version when you get your system.
