    i actually disagree

Bummed that you're not on my ignore list yet?.....Don't worry, I'm sure you will be very soon.

Co-sign. I almost always lose interest before the season is done. Oh Yeah, I'm 13 games from the playoffs in NBA 2k6.

I think it is kind of funny that people are making comparisons to the way a politician answers questions because it's very true. However, if anyone has eve worked (or works) for a big company this guys answers sound like a lot of the b.s. that is dished out about the latest and greatest of a big corp. I think this really shows how much the business has grown...for the better and worse. I am not a hardcore BB fan but I enjoy the real game and the video game. Last years had some major bugs that made the game unenjoyable for me and I really hope they put out a quality project this year.

I just want a good playing baseball game. Fix the bugs and other major issues, pretty graphics, and a deep franchise mode. I honestly think some people expect too much out of sports video games sometimes, just my opinion of course. Like others have stated, I want a game that makes me want to play it for a 162 game season, a game I wanna play all summer long.
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year. Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

Doesn't look like day progression will be in the game this year. That really sucks.
auctually I thin in the interview that the Insiders Edge will chang in game from at bat to at bat but I could be wrong, also from all I've read it sounds like its the closest to mvp so I pre-ordered it tthrough Best Buy and with next day air I'll be getting it anytime from the 15-17 of March depending on its auctual release date, I think the only other baseball game I played was on the original playstion and I think it was mlb gamday but hopefully they will improve for next yr being no RA MVP to deal with ooohhhhhh you can only hope

It seems to me that that was mostly because they were trying to slay EA. Now (on the baseball side) they don't have to bother with EA they're figuring "ok well now we monopolize the market. Take it or leave it"

This is why I am very interested to see the sales figures in a few months comparing MVP with 2K6. If EA outsells 2K6 then it'll prove two things:

              1. Exclusivity doesn't mean a damn thing as long as EA is still around

              2. That 2K6 disappointed the regular buyers and hence word of mouth failed to work
Yeah, it has been an interesting question as to whether or not they view their exclusivity cost as a reason to cut back on R&D...especially in a year where they are making the game for new system(s). The irony to is that it seems they are taking for granted that a market will always be there. Hopefully people will resist purchasing cr*pola games like this. The threat of the market imploding is the only driving force for innovation now...and even then they might calculate that its more profitable to save costs and go after the lemmings.

Yes, that's right. I remember April games in Petco and frost coming out of the player's mouths.

Ugh, this is an embarassing interview, but it would sound all good to people who didn't play it last year.
Same here, or the Cubs playing the Diamondbacks in Arizona and you could see the players breath like it was -10 below outside.

Bryan, the project manager should know what's going on with the game. We shouldn't need to have an interview with programmers. Project Managers gather all the data/features/etc. that are going into the project.

                        Steve,

                        Thanks for the interview.

This dude danced around so many questions that I feel like . After reading the interview, I feel like we are going to be served MLB2K5 with a fresh coat of paint. I had to be so negative, but when you have the MLB license across all platforms, and the only developer/publisher that can I would expect more. EA made the same mistakes with Madden.

If this is a sign of Exclusive licensing, we are in some trouble. I wish Microsoft would use the High Heat license that they paid for as they would be allowed to make a game.

I have read this interview one more time this morning. I think that even though some questions were danced around, that 2K will put out their best effort as they have a lot to lose if they screw up. I just hope that the 360 version impresses.

Also, I wonder what happens to the Inside Edge system when you create a player? If there is no data on someone does opposing pitchers/catchers have no clue?
