They're using the same animations from 2k5, from what I see, and I'm sure their are not gonna kill all that work and start from scratch for the 360 version. Sure they are might add fans walking down the aisle, but your gonna be controlling the fielder with bad throwing animation and batters with bad swinging animation, which does affect the ball and where the ball is going to fall, and not the 3d fans that look great.

Who's developing the 360 version?
I say that because everyone seems to thing that the animations are going to be better on the 360 version than the current console version. If their using the same development team and using only Jeter mo-cap in that basement for the current console, can we guarantee that they upgraded anything except the graphics?

See you are getting things confused. The 360 version is going to be completely new and rebuilt. The current gen version is nothing more than a upgrade from 2k5. So don't expect alot out of it. Of course it doesn't look much different than 2k5. What more can you do with a PS2 and an XBOX....Why even waste the time nickpicking everything you see in a video or photo, its not going to be that much different graphically or during animations.
2ksports has stated in game informer everything will be completely rebuilt for the 360 version including the stadiums and more. So obviously thats where everyone will see the most improvements....
As far as current gen, I don't see it being much better graphical, gameplay it might have improvements, and a different presentation. But I don't see it being something of a major increase in anything else.
360 version will be picked up no doubt though.... -

Re: Who's developing the 360 version?
The 360 version is not gonna be rebuilt all over again, who told you that?
Anyway, its bad enough that their charging more for what looks like upgraded mlb 2k5, but their charging $60 for the 360 version. They better pull some great stuff out their butt for the 360 version because people are not spending only $20 no more.Comment

Re: Who's developing the 360 version?
Here are a few quotes from GameInformer about the upcoming 360 version:
- "Like 2ks first next-gen basketball foray, THE MAJORITY OF THE ADDITIONS to this version are of the graphical sort."
- "ALL OF THE STADIUMS in the game have been completely rebuilt for this version"
- "New gameplay features are also being introduced, such as context-based moves like leaning over a railing to snag a fly ball."
Maybe this will end some of your guys' speculation. As you can see, the entire game engine is not being rebuilt, only the graphics and the stadiums. As far as gameplay goes, although everything is not being redone from scratch, they are adding things (like NBA 2K6 did), such as leaning over the wall for foul balls (which is somewhat funny since I believe both MVP 06 and MLB 06 already have these animations in their current gen efforts).
Hope this helpsComment

At this point there hasn't been any that I know of. I am starting to wonder if this is a big conspiracy like it is not really coming out lol just kidding, makes you wonder why they aren't pushing this game more for 360 since they have the exclusive deal and I am sure they want to make their money back from paying for it.Comment
