Player Sound tract problems 2K5 WSE,

My intention is to use the Batter intro. music slot (player Soundtrack) not for music, but for PA announced Batter introductions. " Now Batting The Cards shortstop, number 5, Rogers Hornsby"

    The steps I took:
    1) Link: http://www.download.com/A1-SpeechTRO...tmltag=tab_ur

    2) I took this 'Text to Speech" link offered by thmst30 and started recording batter introductions on to a CD, using 'Mike in Stadium" mode.

    3) I took this CD full of announced legendary players and my first and last name and put them on my Xbox hard drive.

4)I was able to play my recordings back after I saved them on to my Player Soundtrack.

    5) The trouble began after I successfully saved my hard drive recording to my Player Soundtrack!

I couldn't get the announcements in the game using "Player Soundtrack".

Can anyone help me with this?

If this would work we could get all the legends PA intros including first and last names like:

" Now batting Brooklyns center fielder, number 4, Duke Snider"

    Re: Player Soundtract problems, HELP!,

First of all, what the hell is a tract?

Secondly, you saved it to your Hard Drive, correct? If so, go to whichever "Soundtrack" thing that you saved it as in the game, and do it for the specific player. It should work, unless the file types aren't allowed for your Xbox.

      Hey Blzer,
Cut out the "Bird Seed"! Although I haven't been on these boards that long I've noticed that our friend Blzer here has a little too high regard for himself, and likes to talk down to us hayseeds.

Life has a way of teaching us what the word humble means. All of us meet our match sooner or later! I truly wish you the best, But you my friend need to work on your attitude. I'm only trying to be honest, not trying to hurt your feelings. You have much to offer, your intelligent and I appreciate most of your insights, you can go farther with a little less tone!

So get off your high horse and join the rest of us
      regular folks, or not!

      .................................................. .................................................. ....
I'm still having problems getting Player soundtrack to work in the game.
I saved all the players up the ying yang, I must be leaving something simple out of the process, Please Help!

Re: Player Sound tract problems 2K5 WSE,

Umm... what? I just tried to help you out with your situation.

And, I was actually being very serious when I was asking what a tract was. Now I know. Just so you're aware, it's spelled like track. And also so you're aware, I didn't quote "Soundtrack" to acknowledge your mistake, because I didn't know what it was at the time. I did it because I was referring to what the Xbox music track things where you save your collection of songs on the CD's as "Soundtracks". As in... when you save them, it will ask for you to add them to a "New Soundtrack". So, I hope that makes sense.

And you still haven't answered me with the question that I asked you. Did you or did you not properly save the CD with the tracks to your Hard Drive? And, if so, do they work when you play them? If they do not work, it probably has to do with the Xbox not being able to read that specific audio file type. Now, if they do work, adding them to a player is as simple as going to the Extras in your season/franchise and adding the clips on. If you're still confused on how to do that, you can either ask me or try out the tutorial.

I'm not regarding myself highly when posting what I posted. You asked a question and I tried to answer it to the best of my ability. When you said tract and I had no idea what you were referring to, I asked about it. Even though I finally found out what it meant, you considered that I was teasing you beforehand. I wasn't. If I was, I wouldn't have tried to answer your question. You know how I know that? You're 'teasing' me, and you still haven't answered mine.

Re: Player Sound tract problems 2K5 WSE,

Blzer, now that you've established that Scooter is a bad speller.
And Scooter has established that Blzer has a bad look down his nose attitude.

Can we focus on my question? I still don't know how to get my Player SOUNDTRACK to work.

Is there anyone out there that would be willing to overlook my spelling shortcomings and offer a solution to my SOUNDTRACK dilemma?

Crap, my fault. I guess I should continue reading further.

I honestly don't know what it is. Did you check the presentation settings to see if the correct audio things were up? Are you playing home games with it? Remember... there aren't player-specific tracks available for away teams.
