But it's just about the games imo...
The ps3 and the 360 are more similar than different when it comes to power. They both do things that the other can't and the ps3 can't use all of its power efficiently.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

The only thing the PS3 will be bigger than the 360 is within the price

And, IGN doesn't also have the perfect video card to capture exactly what it looks like. The MLB 2K series contains jaggies (no AA since ESPN MLB), but in one frame it captures all of them strangely enough. In motion, the jaggies are less apparent, but then the framerate starts to take a hit in terms of visuals. I sure with they could feature anti-aliasing and 60 FPS, but I don't think either are possible because of the Triple Pass Rendering they use to model their players.

Tripple pass rendering shouldn't prevent them from using anti-aliasing or running at 60fps (Unless it's a PS2). Their problem stems from not upgrading their game engine for some time now and it causes the framerate to dip and whatnot. When the 360 version comes out hopefully we'll see everything running in 60fps and looking like the jeter screens we've seen. It it well within the powers of the 360 given it's multi-thread processor technology. I just hope they don't skimp on the poly count for the spectators like they did in the 360 NHL2k version, the spectators look like crap and they constantly cut over to them in game.

yeah I never liked xbox live because they refuse to offer a service that can be had for free with a pc. I have no problem with them charging for xbl in it's current form, but they should offer a free version that just allows you to play online against other people without all the extra stuff... It's been free on pc's for years! it just bugs me that microsoft wants to charge for stuff like that.

Yeah but its not like you can chat on PC, noone does..it makes online games really boring.

50 bucks is not alot for what you are getting...free demos, cool arcade games ( trial versions) And you are getting great online games also..sony lacks in every department..
