    simulated stats

i've been excited for this game to come out for awhile, but i must say that i'm a little worried about the simulated stats. i just noticed one of the screens that showed the pitching stats. i think it was actually the cy yound screen and i seen some pretty low numbers. not impossible numbers, but certainly not numbers that you would expect to see. every once and awhile, a pedro or a maddox or a clemens will post one of those era's under 2, but those don't happen every year and that is what makes them special. i think from viewing the al cy young screen, i saw at least 2 era's under 2 for that particular simulated season. and that is just the al, the league where you would least expect to find those numbers. i just hope that those aren't the kind of numbers that the stat engine normally generates. if it procuded one of those under 2 era's every three or four years, i think that would be acceptable. if those numbers come up multiple times per season, then that is too much.

    Re: simulated stats

I wish video games had sliders for simulations.

i just hope the final version generates realistic stats. the pics make me wonder though. i'm not sure how much they will tweak before the final game comes out.
