Heels thanks for the PICs. it's easy to say that graphic wise, WSB series is head & shoulders above the other baseball titles coming out.
Wow so many baseball titles coming out next year, which to pick?
MS has it's own title " MLB: Inside Pitch " can't wait to see that games features & images. Hopefully they use the same engine for the grass in the game that the FEVER series, the grass in FEVER is the best in any sports game to date.

Screenshots do look nice. It's going to be a good year for baseball games. Don't even have Triple Play to kick around anymore.......

Holy sh!t, my god, the graphics man, the graphics. My brain is on overload, I dont know what to get, I'm so lost. Help me sombody, please. to many basball games, just 2 many. Somebody stop please. No more, I cant take no more. My word, I cant pick. i can see my self in the store looking a the back of each game extensively.
F@#k it, I just gotta get em all. 200+ dollars down the drain, so what. It will be worth every penny. ASB, WSB,MVP. I'm getting all three. No HH, I gave up on it. Oh the Humanity, the torture, no more pic, no more. I gotta get them out my mind.

How do you give up on something you have not played? What if this years WSB is the greatest baseball game ever made? You going to sit on the corner doing this ? I mean you have stated you have given up on it. No take backs here at OS.

They've been saying it's the best for the last 4 years. Every time it dissapoints.

For me, it's HH until WSB gets back to their roots.

Surprises happen tho. There are going to be a lot of baseball games that will be enjoyable to certain people and others will hate them. I think of all the sports, baseball gaming has a lot of different types of players playing them. Not everyone wants the same thing. Triple Play succeeded for a long time because of this. With gaming getting so much better tho, the bar has been raised and baseball has been long overdue for a really genre changing game.

All the companies know that this year is going to be full of competition and this being a struggling category they have to make the game work. If not I can see a quick end to their baseball future.

Great points RustedWalleye. I think you are right on with that observation. Any new version of a baseabll game gets me excited. Some more than others. You are always hoping some company blows you away with improvements. This year seems to be a solid year for baseball games.

i used to play the original wsb for the sega like all the time.. i remember one game i hit 5 hr's with mark whiten. he was 5-5 with 5 hr's that guy was a stud fer me..

that game was soo cool because of the homerun derby too.

Hard Hittin' Mark Whiten hit 4 in a game for real one time. I loved WSB on the Saturn. One of the best ever,

WSB was my favorite game last year. I had HH, ASB and WSB.

I played all the PS2 offerings and HH2003 PC and ended out going back to HH2002 on the PC. That was the only one that I actually could keep having fun playing. ASB was decent but long term got boring. HH for PS2 was also ok, but the lack of franchise killed it for me. You play for so long and then realize all I am doing is just playing til the world series. Fun for a while, but no incentive. I didnt get a chance to play WSB, but may get a chance before the new batch come out.
