Double switch question?

I was thinking about picking up the game this week and I just saw someone post that double switches were broken. How are they broken? I use the Giants, so if they screwed that up I may just go back to MVP 05.

You just can't do them when you're up to bat. The option is grayed out. If you just bring in a pinch hitter, it counts him as a pitcher, and will only let you replace him with another pitcher the next 1/2 of the inning. You can do it when you're pitching just fine.

You can't change the pinch hitter's position and put the new pitcher in someone else's spot?

What!? I think you have it all wrong.

Unless they TOTALLY messed up this year, 2K3 - 2K5's double-switch problems were not that you couldn't put your pitcher in another spot in the lineup... it's that you just couldn't leave your pinch-hitter in. He basically HAD to come out of the game (unless you wanted him to pitch).
