Haha that's pretty funny. If you're trying to clown on MLB 2K6 though try again, that type of thing happens in every baseball game. Also, you can in fact take out fielders with slides in this game. What happened to that guy was that the fielder jumped early and so as the baserunner was sliding the fielder was already on his way down to the ground.

Why is it so difficult to add this to the game? I mean 2K has it with the fielders colliding with each other, why not the runners??

Look, I know about the impending oil crisis that is pretty much already here, but at the same time the market must work these issues out. When the oil issue becomes a problem that can no longer be put aside, the market will demand and will recieve a cheaper alternative fuel source. No need to panic or to have massive government intervention or some kind of physiocracy like the link seems to propose.

Think about the situation though, the runner would have speared the fielder with his spikes, a guy would get seriously hurt if that ever happened in real life (bruised ribs, broken legs/ankles, etc.). And besides, this is their first year using the new colision detection and physics system, it's not like they would perfect it on the first try.

I honestly cannot think of one game I have ever played that did not have at least some clipping. This is acceptable to me. I really am looking forward to 360 baseball.
