Originally posted by Drag66I agree with you. I love the new pitching system and I find the batting to be solid. But I still find the fielding terribly sluggish and unresponsive. Did you make any adjustments that improved this aspect of teh game? I am getting the 360 version tomorrow and I hope the fielding is more responsive. If it is not, I would be interested in hearing your adjustments.Watch ya self! Here come the Hawks, the Mighty Blackhawks!! Gamertag: andrae86.Comment

Re: I've given up on this game..
I've been waiting for the 360 version but, I did get a chance to play the Xbox version for a few innings in a Virgin Megastore. The way some people have talked about this game I was really expecting it to be unplayable but for the little I played, it was fun. Loved the pitching, batting while take some getting use too, field seemed fine (you shouldn't be able to stop and turn on a dime) and more realistic. Yes, I only played about 4 innings but, in those 4 it was a lot of fun. I just went from scared to spend $60 on the 360 version to excited to pick it up tomorrow. My only gripe about the Xbox version was that Turner Field is still not update with the giant scoreboard (hopefully it will be in the 360 version).

Re: I've given up on this game..
Originally posted by drae2Well, I'm at work now, so what I will do is write down the adjustments I've made, and post them tomorrow for you. I'm still tweaking, so these will be updated. As for the fielding goes, I do 2 things: Camera view is important, so I play on Brocast view. On outfield flys, I have very little problems with momentum, but infielding..that's a different story. The best thing I've come up with right now is to make sure that you take control of your infielder ASAP, trying to get his momentum going in the direction that you're throwing the ball. Reason for this is 1: If you just let your infielder stand there, especially on softly hit balls, when he picks up the ball to throw there is a serious delay with him throwing to the base, hence you probally will give up an infield single. By taking control of him early with momentum in tow, you will have a much greater chance of getting rid of the ball quicker. Mind you, the hard part is switching to the right defender at the right time to get him going, and there's no fool proof plan of doing this. It's going to take time and practice. I will let you know other things I can come up with. But again, I'm 20 games into my season and I like this game a lot.
Well said, I agree with you whole heartedly. I too play with “Broadcast view” & have fully bumped up fielder aggression… I have no problem in while tracking down foul balls. Getting the momentum moving early on is a bit tougher while fielding ground balls, but I may only need time too. I remember ASB “05” (after playing several games) reacting to hit balls & already knowing which fielder to control before the fielder was in view / before the screen changed… Many may need a little more time with this one? -GW-Comment

So I suppose myself, and all those who don't have an Xbox 360 yet are supposed to go without the game in order to make you feel better about the next-gen version? Get over yourself already. And how exactly are they stealing? A company actually trying to make money. Imagine that! I guess you work for free right?
I agree with him. I have a 360 and can't wait for the game but it isn't fair to just put it on the 360. current-gen systems should also get the game. whether they buy it or not is their problem...Comment
