    Question on pitching..

OK, so yeah, I haven't bought the ESPN series until 2k6.

How come whenever I hit the button to pitch (ie. say I press A for Bartolo Colon), and that's his fastball, and that large circle radius comes, and the ball is in that spot. Wouldn't that mean where the pitch would end up going?

Basically, how do I get the pitch to where I want it to go? Also, is it just me or is pitching control REALLY hard? Like there's a lot of passed balls.

Pitching is all new this year. You aim where the pitch will BREAK. Yes, the pitching will take some time to get used to. Hence why you are having alot of passed balls.

I suggest you watch the vids and read the manual again. Play some exhibiton games and get to learn your pitchers and how each of their pitches break. Once you get used to the system, you will love it. I have never had so much fun pitching.

Hmm, I'm having some success now.

Basically, I'm testing the Angels vs the Marlins. However, I used InsidersEdge, which basically tells me where I should throw it. Got any tips, though? Like, how would you define break, because I don't quite get it yet.

If you're using Xbox, hold down the R-Trigger. This will tell you which direction the pitch should break.

          Yeah, I'm using XBox.

So, when a fastball has .... does it mean it won't move? Or it won't "break"?

Right, unless you don't get the targeting circle tight and hit your spot. You will be serving up "BP" all day...
