First, put the music you woud like on the HDD. Then oncre the game is booted, hit the guide button and go to the music part. Its 2/3 way down and you'll see the controls. Then from there you can go into the music and set playlists and so forth from there. You can name the playlist after a game and know to use it when you are playing the game. -

You have to rip CD's to your hard drive, which is rather easy to do.
However, I did load in a couple CD's worth of music and I haven't been able to listen to them in the menu's of NBA 2K6 within the game itself.
What you can do is just have the music playing via your XBOX 360 console and I do believe it mutes out the music in the menu's.
Another good thing about the custom music on the 360 is that it reads burned CD's. My regular XBOX wouldn't read burned CD's.
I know you desperate you are to listen to your Flock of Seagulls Greatest Hits album on your box, SP.Co-Founder

They wouldn't read if it was a burned Audio CD.

And to answer the question about iTunes protected music (from the impressions thread), just burn the music as an audio CD and that removes all copy protection from the songs, then rip them into your XBox 360 like any other CD.
Also I suggest plugging in a USB keyboard (most seem to work just fine) into the 360 to type in song info, just to save time typing in info.Comment

if you have a portable MP3 player that supports Plays For Sure playback you can hook that up too a USB port and stream music from there.
If you have any kind of mass media... like an external HD or a zip drive, you can connect those via USB and play the music from those as well.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

It's on the main menum maybe under features or extras? Can't remember.
You can change the stadium music, but as far as I can see you can't choose the individual players walkup music.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

I was wondering the same thing, hence the bump.
I did notice that when playing with the Orioles, when my created Kevin Millar comes up to bat, it's playing a custom song that I ripped from a CD to my hard drive. It changes every time he comes up to a different song on my 2k Beats playlist.
I haven't explored this anymore than this observation, though.Comment
