Does anyone miss an ARIEL FIELDING CAM?

Folks, I'm starting to get used to the stilted gameplay of MLB 2K6 and trying to make the best of this game. It does grow on you a bit. I still think it takes a back seat to the fluid more immersive experience that MLB 2006 the Show offers.....BUT, with that said, I am a big baseball fan and can appreciate another companie's interpretation of the sport.

The more I start coming around to playing this game, the more I try to think of what little things could make this game so much better. Other than more varied and fluid pitching and fielding animations, I think the single most constructive game enhancing critisicm I can offer this game is the lack of a perfect fielding cam. I think a nice zoomed back ariel cam that yields a broader, old school style view of the action and the vastness of the field would have really made a huge difference in the immersiveness and fun of the game.

Am I the only one who may feel this way or do others also miss some sort of ARIEL fielding cam that gave a more bird's eye view of the gameplay action once the ball is put in play?

Im wondering if the 360 version has improved on any of the camera angles that the XBOX version seems to lack?

    thanks for your time

I loved the aerial view in Bases Loaded. It was great for fielding grounders and turning two, but it was a cr*p shoot in catching fly balls.

I think the Ariel cam in both MVP 2005 and MLB 2006 the Show are perfect. I wish that something like those were available

I agree. This is one thing that bugs me about the 2K series. With the camera zoomed in, it is hard to get perspective on how deep, and how high the ball was hit.

I am an ariel view cam FREAK!!! I like it in whichever sports game I play. The fact that 2k6 doesnt have it may be the factor that deters me from buying it. I enjoy going to see a real game from the upper deck behind home plate just to compare ball physics of an actual game and a video game. So far, the Show has replicated that similar comparison even better than MVP. I am just so into the ariel high view because it also doent force me to see some of the close up graphical imperfections of player models. I like to pay CPU v CPU and watch via ariel. It seems that MLB2k for the 360 is receiving much more favorable praise then XBox. Part of me is curious to see how it looks but without the ariel view I may just not even bother

For those who missed mrprice's subtle hint, it is spelled "aerial". As an old guy, I would consider myself more of a "Snow White FREAK", but to each his own.
