Does the game crash if your HD is empty?

I asked Heelfan 71 this question becuase his game works, and his HD is empty. I am speaking for the 360 version. I cleaned my HD off around Feb. because I beat the 4 games I had purchased for the system when it first came out back in November. I don't have live so I can't get a patch even if there is one issued by 2k. EB called today and said my game was in. I don't want to spend $63.00 tomatoes if the game freezes up on me! I will take anyone's advice that may have a similar situation going on for their systems.

I have 12.01GB left of the 13gb available. Not 1 froze yet.

I have 11GB remaining and haven't had a freeze. There are at least four other games' saves on the HDD and Oblivion eats up a huge chunk since I have many saves for that game.

Wow, thanks you guys, I'm still undecided. lol Maybe, I'll go up to get it. I know with how GREAT my luck or karma is, even with my hard-drive empty it will freeze. I live in PA. Maybe certin games that got shipped have problems with them? I don't know?

Just so you know, some people have not been able to get rid of the freeze by reformating or even removing the HDD altogether. Basically if you want to save the game at all there is a risk of freezing.

Thats my situation. Didnt have a ton of time to try it last night, but tried both formatting and removing the hard drive. Neither worked. Same thing with CH2K6. Hoping that since it seems alot more people bought MLB they will actually have to do something about it this time.

Alright guys, here's something "new" I would like to ask the same folks who answered my thread. I got the game running right now upstairs. Granted it's an exibition between the Royals and the Marlins. We got through 3 to 4 innings of gameplay(where the camera goes towards the score-board to ask a question ) mind you that I am not playing the exibition I'm only watching it. No freezes yet? I saw on the 2K site where people weren't " creating a profile/ or VIP " because some people were having their games crash once they created their VIP's. My question for you guys here is which one of you have had the game run with no freezes after you created your VIP? Mind you again, I passed on creating my VIP to see if it would freeze? But it hasn't.
