My biggest non gameplay related complaints: Rosters and uniforms. This may sound like silly, but 2K is just lazy. I demand the most accurate rosters and uniforms from a game if they claim the have the EXCLUSIVE license and charge me $60 for the game.
I'm a Mets fan and this is what I've noticed:
-The Mets are missing Anderson Hernandez and Brian Bannister. WTF. Hernandez played last year plus Bannister has been on the team since spring training. They were plenty of missing players on other teams as well.
- Why is Kush Games (developer of the game) is ******* lazy? I'm looking at the same jerseys since 2K3. What's more, they are STILL wrong. The Mets NEVER wear blue caps with their black alternate tops. NEVER since they were introduced in 1998. The black jerseys themselves are missing the white lining on the numbers and font. Picky? Well, you can barely see the numbers at all since thye didn't do it right. The Mets non-pinstiped white home alternates still aren't in the game, althought the Mets use them a lot. Oh, the 1986 Mets NEVER wore black and blue helmets. Seriously, what laziness.
Other teams I've noticed: The Indians are missing their alternate sleeve jersey plus the Astros red alternate has the font/number red as well. Way to go! What's the point of the exclusive license?
Nitpicking? Man, I haven't touched the whole freezing issue many people are suffering.
I hate EA Sports; I don't buy any of their games aside from the FIFA games (only to help U.S. soccer game sales). However, at least EA Sports don't release buggy games and pay much more attention to the details.
When you buy the exclusive license and release a half-baked game, the fans will notice.
