A HD/360? About VIP's?

Well, I got the game just an hour ago. As far as my HD is concerned, it has been clean since Feb.. I read over at 2K boards that some people when prompted to put in an VIP, they simply say "NO" and the game doesn't freeze. I watched ( watched ) an exibition between the Royals and the Marlins. The game is in 13th. inning and it is running without freezing. I even played a few innings and moved the controller back and forth a few times without problem. My qusetion is is there anyone here at these boards that have had NO freezing................AND.............have entered their VIP without it locking up on them? Thanks.

Well, to add a little bit more info for you guys.....I watched 4 games, moving the controller back and forth playing different teams at different times, WITH NO FREEZES.

And I got to play 3 entire games ( all exhibition type ) I even got through the "bonus questions/tid-bit part" on the score board all 3 times with no lock up's.


I STILL don't have any VIP/profile loged in and or saved/created. And my HD is still clean. I have nothing on it. I didn't download any roster's. Well, I don't have live, so that wouldn't matter anyhow. lol

I'm going to wait to make my VIP up until I see some folks out there who have one made up of their own AND have not had a problem with there game freezing up on them. Thanks.

I'm in the exact same boat as you in regards to this game. I didn't (and won't) create a VIP, and so far, 5 full complete games, all presentations turned on, etc, without a freeze. But, I haven't gotten online with it yet to download the latest rosters. That seems like it's an issue with some people, where it's frozen online and then never was the same for them. I'm using the default rosters with tweaking I've done myself.

Oh, and I have NBA 2k6 and College Hoops 2k6. I had tons of freezes with NBA, but that was a disc issue (I bought the game used, it had 4 circular scratches on it and I never finished a game with it). I returned it to the seller and then just bought a brand new one, and it's been perfect. College Hoops same thing, no issues or errors whatsoever. No other games (except for the Madden demo on my HD).

tried deleting my vip and loading the game up without creating a new one and still had the game freeze........
