    My MLB 2K6 Freeze Fix

    Okay, sorry if this was posted anywhere else and shot down. But after my game freezing up 10 times and never getting past the 3rd ining, I had to try this idea I had for what was causing the freezes.

    Yes, most people including 2k sports have said the freeze is due to the 360 Harddrive. And also some have said it was their VIP which was causing it. Who knows?

    BUT, what I just did made me complete 3 full 9 inning "Play Ball" games in a row!!!

    So, all I did is just deleted ALL of my VIP files from all of my other 2K sports games on my harddrive. NHL2k6 and my College Hoops 2k6 VIP files, as well as not choosing to save one in MLB.

    Finally playing a few full games makes my enjoy this game so much more. I think this is a really fun baseball game.
    (P.S.-I'm not a baseball freak, so I don't get irritated by some small bugs or omissions)

      What a shoddy "fix". Sure, just delete your other stuff that you wont be able to use now.

      P.S. no offense to you... I mean this to 2K.

          Yeah, I know it takes away a feature of the game. BUT, I for one could care less about the VIP system. I've never used it nor care too in any of the 2k games from the past. Most of us 360 owners are gamerscore whores, not "token or game credit" junkies or whatever they call those points they add to your VIP to spoof up your Superbox.

          I just want to play a full damn baseball game and this has worked for me so far! And I didn't have to reformat my HD. You don't even have to delete any other files, I deleted all my VIP files through the 360 dashboard.

              I reformatted and recreated my vip and its fine. I have played 3 games no issues
