Right now I have it set to "20" for human and cpu. seems really low but I really like it now. A ball off the wall in the gap should be a stand up double. And I am geting that now. Try these settings:

    Fielder speed: 20
    Base Running speed: 70

I'm still fine tuning a few things but I am getting it very close to how I like it.......I started off on PRO and adjusted my sliders from there but I am sure those settings will work on Rookie or Allstar.
those are around the same values i was trying also from the pro setting, i'm also fooling around a bit using the sped boost thing, you know the A button mashing, lol, i don't have it set to high around 10 for length and left at 50 default for boost power, i mainly left it on to be able to see the icons when running the bases but have started to use when i'm digging for third or second on what should be extra base hits etc.

yeah, I have it turned off now.....I'm going to keep making the runners faster until it seems right. Turn off the turbo boost for fielders too. Just keep lowering the fielding speed and upping the base running speed till it seems right. I'm pretty close now.......bout to go mess with it some more.

LOL, yeah I know. I just turned the 360 on for the first time today and its 7pm.

Just checked my settings and they are

          Fielder speed: 25
          Base running speed: 75

just hit a stand up double on a ball hit in the gap to the wall. triples may be hard to come by though.
